President and owner of the Fire Island Ferries. Tim is a native of Bay Shore and graduated from Bay Shore High School (Class of 1972). He attended Nichols College in MA and earned degrees in Computer Science and Economics. Tim and his wife Jane spend much of their time in Kismet, Fire Island. They have four children: Brendan, Kelley, Brittany and Morgan. They also have two grandchildren, Abigail and Bethany.
Moving back to Bay Shore in 2003, Tim joined his father at the Fire Island Ferries and became President in 2008. Tim is a board member of the Bay Shore Lion Club, where he has served as President. He is also a Board Member of Interferry (an international ferry operator’s organization). Tim is a Board of Trustee member at Molloy College and completed Molloy’s Energeia Social Entrepreneurship Program. He has served on Northwell Southside Hospital committees as well as Good Samaritan Hospital committees. Tim is also an active member of the Bay Shore Chamber of Commerce.
Tim is extremely humbled by this honor and looks forward to leading this year’s parade along Main Street in his hometown of Bay Shore.
